China University of Petroleum (Beijing) is a key "Project 211" and "Double First-Class" university in China. It has outstanding advantages in chemistry, engineering, materials science, earth science, computer science and environmental/ecology, among which engineering has entered the top 1‰ of ESI in the world. Popular subjects include traditional energy-related fields, as well as new promotion of sustainable and renewable energy technology and clean energy technology, deepwater technology, energy strategy and policy research, safety engineering technology, environmental engineering and energy management. CUPB has 16 colleges, offering 27 bachelor programs, 99 master programs and 48 doctoral programs.
CUPB has successively trained more than 4,000 international students from more than 90 countries and regions.
